The car takes the guests to mt.1000 and if the customers wish, they walk the rest themselves up the pick.
There is a man at the foot of the volcano who has walking sticks which the customers can hire for a small charge to help them walk up to the crater. Upon reaching the crater, a local guide will walk them around the crater.
Discovering Imperial Rome Tour
Our morning walk starts at the Campo dei Fiori, a beautiful Roman square with an open-air market. From there, you will head off to The Piazza Farnese, where you will see the Palazzo Farnese and the Palazzo Spada. Continue onwards to Piazza Navona, one of the most famous squares in the world.
Just a ten-minute walk from Piazza Navona you will find one of Rome’s oldest and most iconic buildings, a masterpiece of architecture; the Pantheon. Take a wander inside and submerse yourself in history with the help of an expert guide. Later, from the Piazza della Rotonda you will head towards the Piazza Colonna, centre of the Italian political life, which gravitates around Palazzo Chigi, the seat of the Prime Minister. After crossing Via del Corso, you will arrive at the world famous Fontana di Trevi, known especially, for its appearance in La Dolce Vita, before we finally stop at the beautiful stairs of Piazza di Spagna.
After the morning tour you will be accompanied to a restaurant to enjoy a traditional lunch with drinks.
Enjoy a tour of the most impressive constructions of ancient Rome after lunch. Continue your tour at the Arch of Constantine, the largest and one of the best preserved triumphal arches in Rome. From here, your guide will take you inside the amazing Colosseum, the most famous monument in the world and a main symbol of Rome, where they will explain about the many brutal events that happened between its walls.
Continue your exploration and head to the Palatine Hill and the archaeological site of the Roman Forum – once again, you will get to skip the queues! These two areas in particular are of great archaeological value and are full of monuments and history. The views from the Palatino Forums or the Circus Maximus are truly fascinating. You will have the time to discover the House of the Vestals, countless temples, the Senate, the Capitol Palace, the Sacred Way and the Triumphal Arches. At the end of the day you are sure to feel like a citizen of the Old Roman Republic.
Venice on foot & Gondola Tour
Uncover some special places such as the Teatro la Fenice, known as the Pheonix and one of the most known Opera houses in Italy, and the Scala de Bovolo, a wonderful spiral staircase covered in arches. Then stroll down to the Rialto Bridge, a stunning marble creation that has rightly captured the imagination of many an artist over the centuries since its construction in the 16th century. Although vastly over budget when built, no one can deny its majestic beauty as it spans the busy Grand Canal. Over the centuries it has become one of the citys most iconic monuments. With its inverted v shape, rows of covered shops and its portico pinnacle, it is a prime spot for a photo opportunity.
Take to the water to see Venice as it should be seen. From the Grand Canal you can view the city as the merchant inhabitants of old would have as you take in their Fondaco houses with the warehouses at water level and the family residences above.
Then explore the quieter side of Venice as you take to the minor canals. You will gaze up in wonder at the buildings which seem to tower over you as you glide along on this age-old Venetian mode of transport. A great tour that brings together all that you love of Venice and more.
